About the Company
Mtrec Commercial is proudly representing our highly established and successful transport client on their search for an experienced Sales & Business Developer to join the company as soon as possible. If you have the skills and experience required, please apply for an immediate response! The role is initially temporary to permanent; however, a permanent contract can be offered from day one for the right person.

Role Responsibilities
* Achieve and manage a client base from new customers targeted at a monthly turnover value and % margin, with the aim of generating and continuing the growth of the company.
* Account management.
* Conduct outbound calls to new and existing clients.
* Work towards sales targets and KPIs.
* Develop and retain new and existing business.
The role is working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and on-call applicable 1 in 6 weeks for out of hours work.
About You
* Driven, proactive, customer-focused, and highly motivated with a confident telephone manner.
* Must have some sales experience as well as experience in the transport sector.
* Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills.
* Competent in working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Able to work under pressure, manage a diverse workload, and meet deadlines.
* Outbound calling experience.
* Enthusiastic team player who can also work independently.
* Good interpersonal skills for working with a range of colleagues and customers.
* General skills in maths and English.
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with Microsoft Word.
* Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
