Join TAC and make a Difference in Your Community!
Are you a marketing professional with a passion for community engagement? Do you thrive on connecting with people, creating meaningful events, and bringing a brand’s story to life? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
TAC Holding Ltd is a leading group of private hearing and ear care clinics across the UK, committed to providing expert audiology services and ENT Nurse-led clinical ear care, with a patient-first approach. Our portfolio includes The Hearing Care Centre, which has been delivering outstanding hearing care across Norfolk and Suffolk for over 25 years.
About the Role
As part of our new Community Engagement and Local Marketing Strategy, this is a newly created role to support and strengthen The Hearing Care Centre’s presence in local communities. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape community marketing initiatives while working for an organisation that is passionate about clinical excellence and patient care.
We're looking for our new Community Engagement & Marketing Coordinator to help bring the "heart and soul" to our local marketing. You will help us build strong relationships with communities across Suffolk and Norfolk, while also creating opportunities for members of the public to engage with our hearing professionals and encourage more people to take action about their hearing health.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two weeks will look the same, but here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be involved in:
Community Events & Local Partnerships
* Organising clinic open days, such as coffee mornings and drop-in sessions, where people can meet our expert audiologists and learn about hearing and ear care.
* Organising, planning and coordinating clinician visits to care homes & assisted living facilities to raise awareness of hearing health.
* Managing sponsorships and partnerships with local sports clubs, interest groups, and societies to promote hearing wellness and brand visibility.
Marketing & Content Creation
* Creating and managing engaging social media content and paid advertising campaigns, as well as responding to customer messages and comments.
* Writing high-quality, SEO-optimised content for our website, blogs, and patient emails.
* Supporting the development of printed marketing materials for in-clinic use and patient engagement.
* Assisting with website management, including publishing high-quality content.
* Speaking to our patients and generating high-quality testimonials for use across our printed and digital materials.
* Leading local execution of flagship promotions, special offers, or new product launches via customer email, social media, and digital advertising.
* Collaborating with our external creative and web agencies to deliver high-quality content across a wide range of channels.
* Assisting with the production of printed materials for all clinic locations.
Some UK-wide travel may be required on occasion for marketing team meet-ups, conferences, or company-wide events. Induction will likely take place at TAC Holding’s head office in Edinburgh.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Possession of a full, clean UK driving license.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A confident and outgoing nature, able to engage warmly with patients, clinicians, and the wider community.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with sponsors, local businesses, and healthcare professionals.
* A self-starter, comfortable working independently while being collaborative with a geographically dispersed marketing team.
* A keen eye for branding and creative storytelling.
* A keen sense of curiosity and initiative are good traits to have in this role.
Experience
* Either educated to degree level in a relevant field (marketing, communications, media, journalism) or with commensurate experience in a professional marketing role.
* Previous community engagement or events experience (preferred but not essential).
* A solid understanding of social media fundamentals, paid advertising, and SEO.
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Confident using a wide range of digital tools for content creation, collaboration, and planning e.g. Canva, CMS platforms, and patient database systems.
If you feel you meet most but not all of the skills and attributes above, we still encourage you to apply.
