Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to promote improvement
Encouraging a love for literature, language, and writing through interactive and inspiring lessons
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning
Supporting students' personal and academic development
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and examination requirements
Experience teaching English at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
Passion for teaching and inspiring students
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one through Aspire People.
