In this newly created role, you will be accelerating the environmental compliance strategy. You'll do this by working closely with other members of the sustainability team to meet current regulatory standards while developing forward-thinking strategies to future-proof all operations.
Main activities and responsibilities of the role include:
1. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet compliance requirements, whilst also streamlining reporting processes and pushing for improvements wherever possible
2. Maintain a detailed understanding of current and emerging environmental regulations, you enjoy horizon-scanning and keeping close to the market for other trends or themes you could integrate into this function too
3. Ensure compliance with ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards
4. Manage environmental planning conditions related to water, ground contamination, and emissions, as well as address climate adaptation risks and implement operational changes
