We are looking for a Planning Assistant to join our Digital Planning Team who forecast the trends for our digital channel future and in-season sales. We're looking for something with a strong analytical ability, recognising patterns in large data sets. You will work closely with the Product Merchandisers to map new season product, to current sales and feedback the sell-out results highlighting the seasonal best and worst sellers, giving detailed reasons why anything has fallen into either sector. The Responsibilities: Ownership of data consolidation for the B2B channel Running reports for Monday trade including presenting the bestsellers Building new reports and enhancing older ones to ensure efficient delivery of insights and analysis to the business Updating and validating planning tools such as the MSSI with sales, stock and intake information, and have the ability to identify errors and anomalies Ensuring product availability and dates are maximized for business needs, working closely with supply chain to track intake Working closely with Digital trade team to set up and launch new products on site, supporting with price uploads and intake dates Updating Line cards and recommending monthly buys on Direct Flow lines Managing the Product Classification, working closely with Planners to optimised stock between the channels to minimize weeks cover and maximize stock turn Ensuring all inputs are validated to assist planners forecast the EOS inventory Ad hoc analysis across the planning team The Person: Experience of merchandising or forecasting within the fashion or footwear industry Digital experience is preferable, but not essential You’ll have a solid base level of Microsoft Excel experience Knowledge of Tableau would be an advantage You’ve got the hunger for hitting the numbers, and happy to talk about them Happy to ‘Geek Out’ and obsess about KPIs Experienced working with ERP Planning tools and data analytics You’ll be on the pulse with all channels of activity Positive attitude and of course, a great sense of humour You’ll be creative but also have an analytical mindset Industry recognised achievements preferred but not essential Strong judgement, drive, and ability to influence Hard working, self-motivated and a great communicator Calm temperament under pressure The Benefits: Product Allowance (2 free pairs shoes a year and 50% off 20 pairs) Hybrid and flexible working hours ️ Summer Fridays (6 ½ days in July and August on Fridays) 25 days holiday Bank Holidays ️ Work from anywhere for 2 weeks ️ WorkPlace Nursery (salary sacrifice scheme to save money on your nursery fees) ️ Wellbeing Program – Retail Trust, Sanctus Coaching and Calm App Career development allowance ( Personal allowance to use on career development) Private health care and or dental care (provided by AXA and DenPlan Socials organised by Wellbeing and Feel Good group Check out our careers page to learn more Department Supply Chain & Operations Role Planning Locations London Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time Contact Ben Enlander Head of Talent Acquisition – People & Culture
