Senior HR & Training Officer
Are you a highly organized HR professional, looking to work for a well-established company?
We are recruiting for a HR & Training Officer to join a company based in Loughton on a full-time basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm and paying a salary of 40-44k Per Annum (DOE). This is a fully office-based role with free parking on-site. The company offers 1 day per week WFH following a successful probation.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Being first point of contact for HR queries via email and telephone
* Supporting with the recruitment process such as producing job adverts, arranging interviews, and completing onboarding with new staff
* Producing contracts of employment and other employee documentation such as Leaver documents, healthcare, and pension
* Assisting with payroll and processing invoices
* Attending meetings and completing minutes when required
* Supporting with staff absences/sickness, disagreements, complaints, and grievances
* Maintaining staff record files, such as references and DBS checks and keeping the HR system up to date to follow GDPR policies
* Assisting the Director with all administration and planning of staff development activities and training, such as sending out email invites and preparing and coordinating presentations
* Booking training courses for staff and completing payment authorisations
* Updating training and qualification records onto the database
* Providing other ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required
To be successful for this role, you must have:
* Previous HR admin experience, working in a highly confidential and fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise your workload
* Intermediate use of Word, Outlook and Excel (essential)
* CIPD Certificate (desirable but not essential)
