We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our programmes.
As a Workshop Technician at Gateshead College, you will be responsible for overseeing our cutting-edge automotive garage, where we work on both Electric Vehicles (EVs) and conventional engine cars. Your role will be pivotal in providing hands-on support to students and teaching staff, ensuring they gain practical experience in a modern and fully-equipped environment.
In addition to the core responsibilities, this role involves actively supporting End Point Assessment (EPA) practicals within our automotive apprenticeship programmes. As the Automotive Technician at Gateshead College, you will play a vital role in supporting the team with the practical EPA set up. This includes coordinating with relevant stakeholders, preparing the necessary equipment, and facilitating a conducive environment for students to demonstrate their practical skills.
