About the role…
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6 months (with possible extension) fixed term position of Recovery Co-ordinator based within our North Cumbria RSC Team.
Recovery Co-ordination is a diverse and rewarding role. Key duties you will undertake are:
1. Manage a caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing on-going recovery and treatment plans.
2. Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
3. Reduce substance related harm to individuals and the wider community.
4. Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.
Please note this is a fixed term 6 month role.
About you…
You will have a passion for making a difference and fair chances for all should be at the core of everything you do. You will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above or equivalent) or willing to work towards this in post. You will have a fantastic understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP, and experience of delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.
Who will you be working with…
You will be working as part of our North Cumbria RSC Team. The team is a multi-disciplinary recovery team comprising of colleagues from diverse professional and personal backgrounds. The team includes Recovery Coordinators, HOPE Workers, Medics, Housing and Criminal Justice workers, Individual Placement Specialists and Volunteers. We are a supportive and welcoming team, who are passionate about supporting and promoting recovery for those we care for and within our local community.
