This Oftsed ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School is now looking for a Teacher of Social Sciences to join their team 2025
Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Psychology and Sociology the ideal educator for this role would be delivering these lessons across KS3,KS4 and KS5 at A Level.
The Social Science faculty is a friendly and welcoming team, who are committed to providing high quality teaching and a breadth and richness of experience for the young people who take these subjects. You would be joining at an exciting time of the faculty’s development as they look to expand their curriculum offer. There would also be opportunities for the successful candidate to take on some additional whole school responsibilities should this be of interest. Specific areas will be discussed at interview and to align with both the school’s priorities and the experience and interest of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will:
* Be a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher with the desire to inspire and motivate students to achieve and succeed
* QTS or degree in subject
* Be willing to go above and beyond what is expected, encouraging students to achieve as highly as possible
* Possess a tenacious ambition for their students, seeking to give them exciting and engaging opportunities for learning
* Preferred experience working with KS3 students
