Job Opportunity: Care Home Deputy Manager (Nursing) Location: Earls Colne, Essex Salary: £35,000 per year Shift: Mixed (Weekdays/Weekends) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time About the Role: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to join a care home in Earls Colne, Essex. As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing operations within the home to ensure high standards of care and compliance with organisational goals. Youll lead by example, supervising and training care staff while supporting the Home Manager in delivering exceptional service. In the absence of the Home Manager, you will assume full management responsibilities. Other duties include conducting pre-admission assessments, updating care plans, maintaining accurate records, and fostering positive communication with residents, families, and external professionals. Reporting to: Home Manager Key Skills and Attributes: Proven experience as a Deputy Home Manager in a care setting. Ability to engage with service users to assess and meet their care needs effectively. Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with families, external care professionals, and staff.
