As a Communication Coordinator you will be an integral part of our team supporting the Communications Officer in the delivery of our company’s communications strategies.
You will be at the heart of our communications activities – whether it’s crafting compelling content for our social media and website, creating engaging email campaigns, or helping organise community events.

The role is ideal for a proactive, ambitious individual with a flair for digital communications and some industry experience.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract and will be full-time hours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Manage the company social media platforms. Create and schedule posts, respond to messages and comments.
* Deliver email marketing campaigns. Write, create and schedule emails.
* Create content for a variety of channels, including newsletters, press releases, blog posts, website and print collateral.
* Liaise with external agencies to design and print marketing collateral.
* Maintain and update internal communications channels, including intranet, digital screens, internal email and print collateral.
* Update and manage the website ensuring content is accurate and up to date.
* Support the planning and delivery of internal and external company events.
* Provide administrative support to the Communications team.
* Report on monthly KPIs including engagement metrics and sales.
* Ensure that digital and traditional marketing content aligns with the company’s brand identity and message.
Essential Competencies:
* Experience in digital communications. However, knowledge of both traditional and digital media is a plus.
* Ability to create engaging content for a variety of digital and traditional communications channels.
* Ability to use content management systems, social media platforms, email marketing platforms, and web analytics tools.
* Proficiency in content creation and design tools, such as Microsoft 365 suite, Canva, Photoshop, WordPress.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Essential Experience:
* At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing, public relations or communications role.
* A demonstrable track record of working across multiple communications channels.
* Proficiency in use of common software packages including, but not limited to, Microsoft 365 suite, Canva, Photoshop, Content Management Systems.
Essential Qualifications:
* University degree or equivalent in marketing or related field.
* Ability to acquire UK security clearance.
* Full UK driving licence
If you’re successful, you will be required to undertake MOD Security clearance which includes 3 years’ reference checks, and you’ll need to verify your right to work in the UK and your driving licence as well.
