Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Soft Play Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have a strong interest in working within a child-led environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, particularly those with children, and will be responsible for promoting our range of products while ensuring a high standard of service.
Duties
1. Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need.
2. Provide knowledgeable advice on our Soft Play and party products, ensuring that customers feel informed and confident in their purchases.
3. Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring that displays are appealing and well-stocked.
4. Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and assisting with stock management as required.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any queries or concerns they may have regarding our products or services.
6. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.
7. Demonstrate leadership qualities by training new staff members and sharing best practices within the team.
Experience
1. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, particularly within a Soft Play or childcare setting.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers of all ages, especially children and their guardians.
3. A drive to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
