Description Oversee the regular servicing and maintenance of machinery. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and fix faults. Document maintenance work and machine downtime. Communicate with other departmental staff to ensure machinery is operational and efficient. Comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment. Train other staff members on equipment operations and safe handling procedures. Participate in the development of maintenance strategies.Profile A successful Shift Maintenance Engineer should have: Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills. Responsible for the effective use of time and utilities to achieve Overall Equipment Effectiveness targets. Good understanding of health and safety regulations. Exceptional communication and training skills. Active participation in site inspections and safety initiatives. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Work with Engineer Supervisor to prioritise work orders.Job Offer A competitive salary in the range of £50,000 - £52,000 per annum. A generous pension scheme.
