On behalf of our client, a leading brand and well-known name in Northern Ireland, Artemis Human Capital is recruiting for an HR Generalist / HR Business Partner with specialist expertise in absence analysis and strategic workforce planning. This role is ideal for an HR professional passionate about driving real change through data-driven insights and proactive engagement.
The Role
This is not just an absence management role—it’s a strategic and analytical position designed to shape business culture and workforce planning. The successful candidate will:
* Assess where absence sits within company strategy and culture, identifying underlying trends and challenges.
* Analyse absence metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
* Engage with managers to understand key absence triggers and reasons, creating a holistic view of workforce challenges.
* Design and lead a structured project based on these findings, identifying key drivers and implementing strategies to reduce absence.
* Work hands-on in workforce planning, ensuring the business has the right people in place to maintain efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate cross-functionally, using HR analytics to support long-term strategic improvements.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner with a strong background in absence analysis and workforce planning.
* Ability to interpret HR metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence managers at all levels.
* Experience in developing and leading absence-related HR projects.
* A broad understanding of strategic HR and cultural impact on absence and workforce dynamics.
* Previous experience in contract or project-based HR roles is desirable.
