The Role:
Due to the planned retirement of a Partner in their specialist family law team; the firm is looking for an ambitious 5 years + PQE solicitor to work alongside the Managing Partner and Head of the Family department.
Due to the long-standing relationships and reputation of the retiring partner, you will inherit a loyal, busy and high-value caseload of mainly Finances on divorce coupled with some Private Children work.
You will work closely alongside the department's respected Partner, giving you a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. This will allow you to develop your technical ability in a supportive environment. You will also have responsibility for a small team of junior Lawyers, giving you a platform to build the leadership skills that will put you in good stead for when you make the step up to Partnership.
Requirements:
1. You will be a Family Associate or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to experience)
2. Able to handle your own caseload of finances on divorce and private children work.
3. You are preferably already a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Finances on Divorce and Private Law Children work.
4. Confident in handling your own caseload from instruction through to completion
5. Able to build close relationships with clients and referrers
6. Comfortable working as part of a team and independently
