The DNO Commercial team works at the heart of the business managing complex market forces, procuring the goods and services required to maintain Continuous at Sea Deterrence (CASD), working with international allies, and monitoring the supply chain of the Defence Nuclear Enterprise (DNE). We work across the commercial life cycle, procuring complex requirements and sensitive material and managing billion-pound contracts and programmes. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders across the DNE including the Submarine Delivery Agency, Royal Navy, Babcock, BAE, Atomic Weapons Establishment and Sheffield Forgemasters. As a Commercial Apprentice within DNO Commercial, you will have the opportunity for sourcing and managing the delivery of a range of contracts and providing commercial support and assurance of AWE, Sheffield Forgemasters, and wider supply chain across the Defence Nuclear Enterprise. About the apprenticeship: The Level 4 Commercial Apprenticeship in Procurement & Supply is an exciting dynamic 24-month programme of learning where you will explore the foundations of professional procurement practice in your own work context.
