Job summary Bank Planner / Day Controller - NEPTS Regional Support We are looking for a dynamic thinker to support the planning and day controlling of patient journeys across North Essex, West Essex and Hertfordshire. The role involves effectively planning patient journeys to and from home / health care setting using our cleric system and against set key performance indicators. Working across all areas as and when required to support the service needs. Our patients have varying clinical and mobility needs, some of our patients travel regularly with us into renal and oncology units. Our patients and staff are our priority, ensuring we show care, compassion and empathy. You will need a calm approach under pressure, flexible and have a good general geographical knowledge of the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and outlying areas. Customer service skills are also key as you will be liaising with patients, clinics and our staff, keeping calm under pressure and following the Trust's vision and values. Main duties of the job Responsible for the planning of transport for future dates. Responsible for the control of ambulance service resources for the current day. To ensure all patients on our transport get home as quickly as possible. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
