Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for producing a full business case for an expanded and integrated Learning Disabilities offer for the Local Authority. This will take forward work done to date in reviewing the issues and options affecting the Local Authority Inclusion Centre offer so that a fully costed business case can be presented for decision to the People Committee in March 2025.
The business case will need to present a clear financial case for change, taking into account both savings already identified elsewhere (from within the Adult Social Care Transformation Programme) and concurrent work such as recommendations emerging from the review of the Meals on Wheels service (that operates out of the inclusion centre) as well as all other interdependencies (including the insourcing of an LATC providing homelessness and housing services in December and future location of the Shared Lives and LD floating support services).
The post will report to the Promoting Independence and Wellbeing Manager, and sit within the Public Health and Wellbeing Directorate.
