The Role:
They are seeking a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Their team. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting both students and staff, ensuring students achieve their full potential. This role will involve assisting students with their learning in a vocational context, supporting teachers with classroom management, and leading pupil interventions to address individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students across various vocational pathways, helping them develop their skills and confidence
* Assist in the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons in practical subjects such as Hair and Beauty, Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Construction, and more
* Work closely with teachers to support the progress of learners and ensure they meet their educational goals
* Lead interventions for students requiring additional support, both academically and personally
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters independence and skill development
* Support with monitoring student progress and reporting to staff and parents/carers as required
* Uphold the safeguarding and well-being of all students in the centre
Qualifications and Experience:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent
* Experience supporting young adults in an educational or vocational setting
* A strong understanding of vocational education and the unique challenges and opportunities it offers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for working with learners of all abilities and promoting their independence and achievement
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
