Job Overview
This is an exciting post within the non-invasive cardiac physiology service. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate should have clinical experience with holter analysis and assisting with exercise tests. Independence in undertaking 12 lead ECGs and fitting AECG monitors is essential. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work as part of a team in this busy department. Main Duties of the Job
You will be involved in all aspects of the non-invasive cardiology diagnostics department and will be expected to assist in the timely, efficient, and safe delivery of cardiology procedures. You must be able to coordinate the day-to-day running of the ECG and ambulatory monitoring service, ensuring ECGs are recorded in line with departmental policies and monitoring quality control of the ECG service. You will also be involved with exercise testing and MIBI services.
Professionalism is required at all times, along with liaising with other clinical teams and maintaining good public relations with the general public and other interest groups. Additionally, you will be expected to undertake ordering and auditing stock levels as part of your role.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Foundation degree in health care science or equivalent.
* Society of Cardiological Society and Technology ECG diploma and/or ECG certificate.
* Basic life support certification.
* Intermediate life support certification.
Experience
* Relevant intermediate experience in a range of non-invasive techniques (ECG, ambulatory ECG monitor fitting and analysis, exercise tolerance testing, MIBI).
* Experience working in a healthcare environment alongside clinical and managerial staff.
* Experience of communicating directly with patients/carers and visitors.
* Previous NHS experience.
* Experience of training people.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of procedures (ECG, ambulatory ECG fitting and analysis, exercise stress testing, MIBIs).
* Data protection knowledge.
* High degree of knowledge in medical terminology.
Skills
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good planning and organisational skills.
