What you’ll do
To be part of a Secure IT team acting as a primary point contact for technical escalations, with responsibility for ensuring our IT systems run efficiently across a complex deployment of secure networks. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience focusing on virtual environments and associated technologies.
1. Act as a technical escalation point for IT Systems Analysts and Administrators
2. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of all IT related infrastructure
3. Monitor the performance of servers, and associated hardware & software
4. Ensure that new solutions and system upgrades are deployed in a controlled manner
5. Work with the IT Infrastructure Lead and internal stakeholders to produce and update system designs
6. Act as a primary point of contact for technical related matters for Internal/External stakeholders & 3rd party suppliers
Who you are
1. Advanced Linux (CentOS, Debian, RHEL) & Windows System Administration
2. Advanced knowledge of virtualization (VMWare)
3. Good logical diagnostic skills: ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
4. Experience of implementing IT Security Policies
5. Ability to test and deploy new technologies to enhance and integrate with existing systems
6. Computer Science or IT based degree or equivalent industry experience
7. Proactive, self-motivated, and be able to keep up with the rapid pace of ICT
8. Willing to go through DV clearance
