Monarch Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a nursery in Tile Hill, Coventry. The candidate will be supporting learners with ADHD, ASC, and other additional needs. Experience working in schools with children that have numerous needs and behaviour is essential. This is a full-time, long-term role from April till the end of the academic year.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with young people
* Have experience working with SEND
* Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
* Have a desire to work with, inspire, and support children
* Have good behaviour management skills
* Have experience supporting children with additional needs
Main Responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day-to-day running of the class
* Supporting children during lessons/school activities
* Managing difficult behaviours
* Delivering 1:1 or small group activities
* Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
