About the role We are looking for a highly organised, numerate, and bright individual with previous experience in Accounts Payable function within a retail fashion business - e-commerce preferable. Key Responsibilities: Posting of invoices into the accounting system, ensuring they are coded correctly, and the relevant approvals from departments are requested and obtained. Management of payment runs (multicurrency) and sending remittances. Posting payments into the accounting system and allocating to the relevant invoices. Performing bank reconciliation Reviewing and maintaining aged creditor report – reconciling supplier statements and following up on any discrepancies Ownership of Stock invoices and GRN process on the accounting system – working closely with the Buying and Merchandising team to ensure accuracy of cost prices / units received and raising any issues with the relevant internal team / suppliers. Management of Accounts email Inbox Expenses management and processing. Working closely with the finance assistants on relevant AP postings Supporting the finance team with the move to the new ERP platform, owning the Accounts Payable functionality and integration of the banking system. Filing and ensuring strong record keeping is maintained Qualifications: Experience with Stock and understanding of accounting principles (i.e posting accruals and prepayments) Strong Excel skills and Microsoft 365 Dynamics experience preferable Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with other key stakeholders in the business.
