This is an exciting opportunity for a UK registered nurse, with working experience past preceptorship in a UK inpatient setting, to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care in a unique private patient setting while enjoying all the benefits of NHS employment! 1. Surgical Care (Minor and major)

As a staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role providing world-class care tailored to the individual needs of patients and demonstrating the ability to go above and beyond in every interaction.
Chelsea Wing is a state-of-the-art, 12-bedded unit providing private medical and surgical care to patients seeking the very best treatment and comfort. Adjacent to it, the Westminster Wing offers private outpatient services, running clinics Monday to Friday.

Job responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
1. Adhere to and model the standards outlined in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct

4. Support pre- and post-operative care for a range of specialties
5. Demonstrable experience in recognition of the deteriorating patient
6. Maintaining high standards of Infection control and prevention
7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient journeys
8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team
9. Maintain accurate and professional documentation, adhering to all clinical standards
10. Have awareness of resources, staffing, and equipment to meet service demands
11. Assist with any local or trust initiatives to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of services and safeguarding of high standards of care
12. Be aware of all hospital policies and procedures and collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure that these are observed

15. Support, supervise and assess all learners, students, temporary new and junior staff within the departments

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
* Registered Nurse on NMC register
* Degree / Diploma in Nursing
* Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development
* Mentorship / Teaching / Assessing Course and experience
* ILS Trained
* Phlebotomy and IV cannulation trained
Experience
* Post preceptorship experience working in an inpatient setting
* Proven clinical experience within inpatient setting
* Proven experience in Private Care setting
* Ability to utilise pre-registration experience to demonstrate an understanding of the relevant settings.
Skills and Knowledge
* Proven clinical skills in relevant area
* Evidence of self-development
* Knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
* Awareness of budget implications in relation to clinical care delivery
* Evidence of commitment to customer care initiatives
* Experience in implementing Quality Improvement Project (QIP) or equivalent
