We will be looking for a number of paralegals over the coming months to join the firm working across various teams. If you’re keen to learn and develop, enjoy carrying out legal research and are looking to develop a career in law, we would welcome your expression of interest.
The role
In this varied role, you’ll be supporting a particular team (yet to be determined) and will need to be able to handle a mix of work, including:
* Supporting lawyers and other legal practitioners
* Carrying out legal research
* Drafting and preparing documents and letters
* Preparing bundles and court papers
* Filing case files and handling client caseloads
* Administrative duties such as taking phone calls, answering correspondence and filing
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone that wants to learn and who cares about customer service. You’ll need to be organised, a strong communicator and willing to roll your sleeves up and support as needed and demonstrate a high level of ambition and enthusiasm.
To be successful you’ll also need the ability to prioritise workload effectively, as well as strong attention to detail. Working at Clarion is all about building and maintaining relationships whether it’s with clients, contacts or colleagues, so a level of self-confidence is also needed.
We expect a high level of interest in these positions, so to assist with shortlisting, we encourage applications from those with a strong academic background and whose education/career path to date demonstrates a genuine desire to carve out a long-term career in the legal sector.
To enjoy working at Clarion and thrive in the firm you will need to be motivated, a team player, commercially minded, calm under pressure and be able to work equally well autonomously and collaboratively.
Whilst we have agile working, you will hugely benefit from being in the office regularly. Working from home opportunities will depend on the specific requirements of your team.
