About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be the commercial lead of refurbishment projects valued at £10m - £15m working between the office, based in St Albans, and site. The projects you will be leading are spread across a range of sectors such as colleges, universities, heritage, leisure and places of worship. You will play a crucial role in managing costs, ensuring profitability and overseeing all financial aspects.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Handling both the upstream and downstream process
Regularly updating the financial forecast, identifying any potential risks and providing solutions
Monitor costs throughout the projects life-cycle to ensure it stays within budget
Solve any contractual disputes that arise during the project Key Requirements of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying with a Main Contractor
Familiarity with JCT contracts
Strong knowledge of cost management software
Live within commutable distance to St Albans What's on offer:
