Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business & Economics Teacher to join our Secondary School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business concepts and practices, along with the ability to inspire and engage students in their learning journey. This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum, fostering a positive classroom environment, and preparing students for future careers in the business world. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover key business topics such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and management. Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Stay updated on current trends in the business world to ensure relevant content is taught. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school-wide initiatives. Organise extracurricular activities related to business education, such as clubs or competitions, to further enrich students' learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, reporting any concerns to relevant stakeholders. Qualifications A degree in Business Education or a related field is essential. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong knowledge of business principles and practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Experience in teaching or tutoring is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
