Senior FP&A Analyst Job Description: This forward-looking role will sit within Sage's FP&A Analytics function and will play a critical role as we continue to grow in the marketplace, emerge through times of change and execute our strategy to become a leading SaaS business, The Group FP&A team are fundamental in providing insight to drive decision making, create competitive advantage and successfully deliver our SaaS strategy. The FP&A team is responsible for both internal and external reporting. This role requires a strong senior financial analyst able to analyse, summarise and provide insights to management as well as drive data accuracy across the business and develop junior team members. The role requires knowledge of SaaS finance along with strong data analytics skills. This role will build strong commercial relationships with key stakeholders across the business. It will really drive forward the use of data analytics and data-driven insights in Finance and the business. This will be achieved through the future development of analytical processes, integration of additional data sources from across the group and driving the direction of the internal BI dashboarding tool. The development of this tool is a key strategic priority in Group Finance and will provide additional, vital information across many high profile areas of the business. Key Responsibilities: Summary of Role As an FP&A Senior Analyst, you'll play a key role in Sage's Financial Planning and Analysis function, providing insights that drive decision-making and support our transition to a leading SaaS business. This role will build strong commercial relationships with key stakeholders across the business. It will drive forward the use of data analytics and data-driven insights in Finance and the business by ensuring data accuracy, refining analytics processes, and enhancing our internal Business Intelligence (BI) tools. What I Will Be Doing You'll prepare accurate, insightful reports for the Board and Executive team, ensuring finance decisions are based on strong data-driven insights. You'll lead the rollout of our BI tool across regions, working with leadership to align data analytics with strategic goals. Your role will involve developing innovative solutions for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and other strategic challenges, while also strengthening relationships between finance and commercial teams. What We Are Looking For We need a strong financial analyst with expertise in SaaS finance, data analytics, and business intelligence. You should have experience summarising complex financial data, delivering insights, and improving reporting accuracy. Proficiency in BI tools like Power BI and Alteryx is a plus, as is an ACA qualification. You should be a proactive problem-solver with the ability to build strong commercial relationships and drive innovation in financial analytics.
