Description
* Provide expert tax advice to a portfolio of private clients (HNWI/high profile clients)
* Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service are maintained
* Stay updated with changes in tax legislation, communicating these to clients where necessary
* Collaborate with other members of the tax team on complex tax matters
* Prepare tax returns and other necessary documentation
* Assist in the development of junior team members
* Contribute to the growth of the tax department through business development activities
* Ensure all work complies with internal procedures and professional standards
* A split of 50% compliance & 50% advisory
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager should have:
* A professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA or ACA)
* Proven experience in a tax-focused role within professional services
* A comprehensive understanding of UK tax legislation
* Excellent communication and client management skills
* A commitment to continuing professional development
* The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
