Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join the Rehab & Recovery Complex Neuro team in Bristol. This part-time position (2.5 days per week) offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients with complex neurological conditions, helping them recover and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting thorough assessments of patients with complex neurological conditions, identifying functional impairments and establishing therapy goals.
* Developing individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
* Implementing a variety of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and equipment-based therapy, to help patients achieve their goals.
* Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment plans, and strategies for managing symptoms and maintaining progress.
* Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and neuropsychologists, to coordinate care.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.
* Advocating for the needs and rights of patients, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and support.
* Participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of treatment and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
* Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience working with patients with neurological conditions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* A commitment to patient-centred care and rehabilitation.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
