A great opportunity has arisen for a technical support engineer to join a leading manufacturing company who supply world class products to the offshore industry
Job Description:
* Ensure that products meet market and customer requirements.
* Create and manage build, test, and production procedures.
* Oversee and update user manuals for electronic systems.
* Conduct online product demonstrations and create digital content like webinars.
* Provide technical insights for sales and marketing materials.
* Handle customer support inquiries and document corrective actions.
* Ensure products meet or exceed market standards through testing.
* Log and review customer support issues and take corrective actions.
* Work closely with internal teams to translate technical specifications into user-friendly documentation.
* Occasionally visit customers to provide technical support and gather feedback.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
* Educated in an electronical or electric background
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, understanding of electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and ability to write technical reports.
* Manufacturing environment experience, ideally from a hands-on tool based role
* Customer facing
* Ability to produce technical reports / manuals
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
* 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)
* 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays
* 5% pension
