Our client is an award-winning contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering high-quality residential projects. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a $100M Class 2 residential development in the Newcastle Area.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities from start to finish. This includes managing sub-contractors, cost reporting, programming, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of this landmark project.
We are looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager with at least 4 years of experience in residential construction. Previous experience managing large-scale residential projects ideally in the $50-100m range. We are also open to considering more junior candidates with experience in the $20-50M range who are looking to step up and take on more responsibility.
About You
Successful candidates for this role will have a proven track record in the delivery of projects over $20m.
1. Tertiary qualifications in Construction/Project Management, Engineering.
2. Proven experience completing multiple projects from start to completion.
3. 3+ years professional experience working in a Project Manager role on Class 2 residential projects.
4. Exposure to delivering projects in live environments will be highly regarded.
5. High attention to detail, strong project governance, reporting & programming skills.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
7. A positive can-do attitude and a team player.
