- Physical Education Lead to join our close-knit team at Manor House School located in Horsham To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils across Physical Education, in consultation with the Head of School and Assistant Head in charge of teaching and learning.
Liaise with other OFG schools to ensure development of the curriculum area Quality assure the teaching and learning of the subject area Attend middle leader training within school To teach a range of subjects as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s curriculum The school’s vision, aims, priorities, targets, curriculum policies and action plans; The requirements for the Ofsted Framework and how this impacts our teaching and learning To have a solid understanding of the school pathways and ensure suitable learning is taking place in all environments The characteristics of high quality teaching and the main strategies for improving and sustaining high standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all pupils; The implications of the code of practice of special educational needs for teaching and learning; To develop the understanding of implementation of the curriculum area across each pathway Manor House School is a DfE registered independent school which caters for boys and girls with social, emotional and mental health needs between the ages of 7-18 years old.
