Part of a major international group, this modern manufacturing facility is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team maintaining all plant assets and site services in a world-class production environment.
Maintenance Supervisor
Salary: up to £57,000 (days)
Location: Shropshire (commutable from Wolverhampton, Telford, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury, Stafford areas)
Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maximizing the operating efficiency of the production plant and equipment, managing your team to ensure breakdown and planned maintenance are carried out safely and efficiently.
Duties:
1. Lead and mentor a multiskilled maintenance engineering team working over different shift patterns
2. Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance for HSE, COSHH, RAMS, Environmental, PUWER, etc.
3. Prioritize preventative and corrective maintenance work orders within the CMMS.
4. Manage and control maintenance engineering resources to achieve required OEE levels and regulatory safety standards.
5. Manage, coach, and mentor your team.
6. Promote the company's HSE policies across the department and plant.
Requirements:
Applications are sought from experienced Maintenance Supervisors and Managers eager to progress their careers in a large, highly automated manufacturing facility within a world-class engineering organization.
* Time-served mechanical or electrical apprentice, IOSH or NEBOSH certification desirable
* Proven ability to manage, lead, upskill, and coach a technical team
* Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review to drive performance
* Experienced in planned maintenance, TPM, RCM, and CMMS systems
* Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance
* Experience with CNC machinery, assembly lines, PLC controls, and robotic automation
