Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity arising for staff nurse posts on our new female acute ward at Mill View Hospital!
The ward will be a 13 bedded female acute mental health ward, primarily working with individuals aged 18-65.
We have opportunities for Staff Nurses, both newly qualified and experienced. For Newly Qualified Nurses, our Preceptorship Academy will help you transition from Student to Registered Nurse.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities

* Deliver high standard evidence-based inpatient nursing care in partnership with the team and service users.
* Act as a primary nurse in the assessment of needs and organizing of care.
* Coordinate shifts and provide supervision for support workers and students.
* Work within a team committed to delivering quality service.
* Adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty to meet service needs.
* Take charge of a designated clinical area and deputize as appropriate.
* Represent the clinical team perspective at multidisciplinary meetings.
* Participate in the multi-disciplinary team, formulating care plans.
