Full Job Description Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are recruiting for a Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery in West London. Position Details: - Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a variety of shifts between 7:30am-6pm. - Salary: £25,033 - £27,212 dependent on experience. About Us: - Established our Northwood branch in July 2019 and expanded twice since then. - Eastcote is our second branch. - We offer in-house training and support for further courses to enhance staff knowledge. - Significant room for career progression with a focus on upskilling our team. - Our beautiful building has 5 classrooms across 2 floors. A Typical Day Includes: - Supporting the room leader in leading the room, motivating the team, and stepping up in the room leader's absence. - Ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the setting facility. - Keeping developmental records for your key group up to date. - Collaborating with colleagues to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children. - Developing an attractive and stimulating range of equipment, activities, and displays. - Maintaining confidentiality on matters relating to work within the setting. - Ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and welfare. - Adhering to company policies and procedures. - Supporting the management team in meeting Ofsted standards, including EYFS. - Striving to deliver an outstanding setting. - Keeping up to date with legislation in early education and ensuring compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements. - Familiarizing yourself with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these. - Leading a team and raising practice standards daily. - Delegating tasks to ensure the smooth running of the room. - Sharing creative ideas and involving your team in classroom decision-making. - Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and secure bonds with the children. What We Ask From You: - A full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years. - Previous experience in an early years setting. - Ability to be a positive role model for your team. - Extensive knowledge of the current EYFS. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Passion, motivation, and the ability to work well within a team. - Adaptability to a fun and inspiring working environment. - Good ICT skills. - A current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate.
