Job summary We are offering an exciting opportunity for Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team in a forward thinking radiotherapy department at Velindre Cancer Sevice This post is based at our new Radiotherapy Satellite centre at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job To help organise the work load in the various functions of the department and take responsibility for training and supervising more junior radiographers and students. To deputise in the role of team leader in the absence of the Band 7 radiographer, as required. To be part of a large multi-disciplinary team and to be involved in the total care of patients undergoing radiotherapy. To work flexibly according to the demands of the service, including weekends and across more than one site. To participate in out of hours and on-call working as required.
