QC Technologist - Product Testing & Stability

The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled QC Technologist to join our biopharmaceutical team in Slough.
As a QC Technologist, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking stability assessment of therapeutic proteins through a variety of analytical methods. Your role will include performing HPLC, electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, and general characteristic analysis (e.g. visual appearance, pH, Osmolality). Your work will strictly adhere to local EHS policies and cGMP guidelines, ensuring our processes remain world-class and flawless.
Key responsibilities:
1. Perform experimental work independently in a safe and compliant manner.
2. Plan and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.
3. Technically review assays for stability studies against standard operating procedures, protocols, and GMP principles.
4. Liaise with operators and study directors to close out the technical review of assays.
5. Interpret data against specifications and determine trends within data.
6. Communicate progress and raise challenges to Line Manager and/or scientific lead as appropriate.
7. Work collaboratively in a team to ensure business, regulatory, and customer needs are met.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. BSc or equivalent experience in a life science subject.
2. An understanding of HPLC, product stability, and QC is desirable.
3. Good knowledge of analytical methods.
4. Good awareness of cGMP guidelines and how adherence to GMP impacts the way we work.
5. Proven time management, organisation, and planning skills.
