Gap healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our client based in Oxfordshire working out of Banbury for a experienced Service Manager. Our client provides support in residential care, supported living, and domiciliary care for individuals with learning disabilities. Role Responsibilities: As a Service Manager you will support adults with learning disabilities, ensuring they live their best possible lives. You'll be a role model, demonstrating excellent support and helping Regional Service Managers coach, support, and manage staff teams effectively. Your responsibilities include: Assisting the Regional Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service. Managing team performance, ensuring care and support promote dignity, wellbeing, independence, and a person-centred approach. Monitoring and maintaining the highest standards of clinical and personal support. Promoting and leading good practice, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of the people we support. Working flexibly, including shifts on a rota basis, covering nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays. Requirements: Experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities. Good IT skills and experience in maintaining records. Knowledge of CQC regulations. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent), or the ability to achieve this within 18 months of appointment. Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety issues and Safeguarding regulations. Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
