About the Role
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, managing all contractual elements and ensuring compliance with timeframes, budgets, and quality expectations. Working closely with clients, suppliers, and site teams, you will lead the coordination and execution of contracts to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities
•\tProject Oversight: Manage multiple refurbishment and construction contracts from inception through to completion, ensuring projects meet or exceed quality, time, and budget requirements.
•\tTeam Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support project teams, fostering collaboration between design, construction, and on-site staff.
•\tContract Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations are met, addressing any issues, changes, or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
•\tFinancial Management: Monitor budgets, track costs, and manage resources effectively to maximize profitability and efficiency.
•\tClient Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
•\tRisk & Quality Control: Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
•\tExperience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction or refurbishment sector.
•\tQualifications: Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
•\tSkills: In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, project management, and financial oversight.
•\tSoftware Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and contract administration software.
•\tCommunication: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster strong client and team relationships.
•\tFlexibility: Willingness to travel within the UK as required for project oversight.
