Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a general teaching assistant to work across year groups on a part time basis to cover on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours will be 8.30am – 3.30pm. The school have fantastic feedback and offer a positive, supportive working environment. The successful will be supporting learning and contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities. Hours: 3 days a week – full day Start Date: January The Applicant: Level 2/3 teaching assistant or relevant teaching assistant experience. Will have relevant SEN experience within an education setting or within care work Knowledge and experience of primary curriculum Be well versed in behaviour management strategies. Be nurturing and caring. Must be flexible to work with other staff. Will have excellent communication skills (non-verbal skills desired but not essential). Responsibilities: Working as general Teaching assistant Working 1-1 helping to reach appropriate, related targets. Leading small group sessions promoting key skills needed within general lessons. Assisting within the classroom behaviour where needed. Communicating effectively with parents and staff.
