Purpose of the Role: An opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and diligent individual to work as part of our Facilities Team, facilitating the high standards of cleanliness of the stadium and surrounding areas. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and high standards of all the grounds facilities at all times. Key Duties and Responsibilities: · Compliance administration to include fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, disabled toilet call points and fire alarm checks. · All cleaning of outdoor areas to include: seating deck and seats, ground perimeters including car parks etc. · Litter picking all areas of the ground and car parks · Moss and weed clearing all areas of the ground and car parks · Undertake basic maintenance including painting · Emptying rubbish bins and managing waste collection, including ensuring rubbish is recycled into the correct containers and heavy-duty bins · Dealing with SMITHS contractors onsite · Tackling heavy cleaning tasks on request · Ensuring outside walkways remain clear and free from debris, and making sure the site is clear of items which are in the wrong place and put them in the correct place · Notifying the Facilities Supervisor of any repairs required. · Using pressure washers to clean the stands, seats and block paving • Assist with general facilities administration as required • Assisting with site preparation in times of flooding and the ground clear up operation • Site preparation for the commencement of each new season • Managing of the Severn Bridge pay & display car park • Upholding brand standards and appearance of all facilities • Assist with matchday preparation duties and match day working • Help within other areas of the operations department, as and when required Other responsibilities: We expect our people to demonstrate and promote our values at all times to ensure Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s brand is always held in the highest regard both internally and in public. Requirements Person Specification: We are looking for a diligent, hard working and motivated individual who can work under their own steam to carry out the task at hand. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a busy team. You will have good organisational and communication skills along with a commitment to delivering a high standard of work. You will need to maintain a positive attitude and be a confident and tenacious person, with strong attention to detail. A full driving license would be advantageous You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date.
