Internal Account Manager Oldham £25,000 - £30,000 plus bonus My client, a well-established Oldham based organisation are one of the UK's leading purchasers and re-sellers of excess, obsolete, liquidated and clearance stocks. They are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of customers in the clearance stock market across the UK and Europe. While experience in this sector is a plus, they are open to training passionate candidates who are eager to learn. In this role, you will adapt to selling across more than 15 product categories with a focus around toys, stationery & craft. Engage with a wide variety of customers and contribute to our growing success. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of customers in the UK and Europe, focusing on clearance stock sales. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and business objectives. Adapt quickly to different product categories and client demands to provide tailored solutions. Engage in selling at trade shows, on the road, in the showroom and via email and phone to drive sales. Bring customers into our Manchester-based showroom to showcase our products. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction. Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction and gather feedback. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications: Experience in account management or sales, preferably in the clearance stock market, is desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients across diverse cultures. A proactive attitude and a hunger to learn and succeed in a competitive environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to be in the office with the team daily when not on the road.
