NOF is recruiting a Marketing Design Assistant – join our team!
In this vital role you will create impactful and high-quality designs and content for use across all areas of the NOF business including corporate, membership, services, events including our large annual conferences & exhibitions and Energi Coast.
Adobe Creative Cloud experience (InDesign and Illustrator specifically) is a must as this role is all things design! We are looking for someone with creative flair to design exhibition graphics, signage, adverts, e-flyers, floorplans, programmes, social media, logos, animations, videos, presentations and much more.
We are looking for someone with design and marketing experience, working within brand guidelines but at the same time helping us stand out from the crowd.
Also, excellent project management and organisational skills are important with the ability to multitask across several projects.

Job Purpose:
* To design marketing collateral across the business
* Create impactful and high-quality graphics / designs / content for use in digital and printed marketing campaigns and e-communications
* Align all design work to company values and brand guidelines
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work with the Head of Commercial to create engaging, high quality, impactful designs that stand out and resonates with the audience and build a positive brand image
· Daily use of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.), Microsoft office packages (PowerPoint, Word etc.) and Canva to produce impactful marketing collateral
· Work to a brief to create designs across all areas of the business including corporate, events, membership, services and Energi Coast working to brand guidelines
· Work to a brief to create designs for digital and printed marketing campaigns including but not limited to exhibition stand graphics, banners, signage, adverts, floorplans, programmes, e-flyers, websites, social media etc.
· Work with the events team on flagship events to produce marketing collateral as required
· Liaise with external partners such as marketing / design agencies, photographers, videographers when needed
· Support the production of external films which are outsourced
· Produce in-house animations and video content for use in promotional campaigns
· Be a brand champion for NOF and Energi Coast ensuring members, partners, stakeholders follow the guidelines, provide advice where required
· Support with development and maintaining of NOF, Energi Coast and annual events websites
· Liaise with members, partners, stakeholders and suppliers to collect information such as editorial, adverts, e-flyer content, company information, photos and logos
· Ensure all communications issued are accurate, proofed, of high quality and align to the brand guidelines
Other Duties:
· Act as ‘Ambassador’ for NOF
· Time allocated to provide support to the Energi Coast Cluster (owned and operated by NOF) to roll out their brand and messaging
· Proactively contribute to internal planning meetings, staff updates etc.
· Active use of social media channels including LinkedIn to promote NOF events and services
· Identify and assist in the recruitment of new members, supporting the Business Development team
· Proactively identify member “good news” stories and case studies that can be used for publicity
· Utilise NOF event platforms, communication channels and CRM to best effect
· Perform any additional duties that commensurate with the position as required
Knowledge & Skills Required:
· IT literate with experience of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc). as well as all aspects of Microsoft Office packages, Canva, Teams and Zoom
· Passionate and enthusiastic about design with creative flair, confidence to drive new ideas forward
· Knowledge of graphic design and marketing in a business environment
· Excellent eye for detail, proofing skills and knowledge of brand integrity
· Ability to successfully work to branding guidelines
· Excellent knowledge of office practices, administration and customer services
· Excellent project management, organisational and time management skills with the ability to operate over several projects and meet tight deadlines
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to do so at all levels
· Ability to interpret briefs and present ideas and finished designs
· Knowledge and experience of social media to be a champion with active use of LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X etc.
· Good negotiation skills
· Ability to pick up and learn new software as and when required
· Willingness to accept feedback and suggestions for improvements
Education & Experience:
· Graphic Design qualification with extensive experience working with Adobe packages (or equivalent)
· Marketing or business-related qualification is desirable
· Office experience is desirable
