About you:
We are hiring a highly motivated and ambitious Social Media Manager to refine and execute our social media strategy to manage and scale personal brands to 50k + followers to increase brand awareness and differentiate ourselves as a brand, drive engagement, and generate booked appointments.
We are looking for someone who can build a strong short-form video content system for organic social media (IG, FB, Youtube with some focus on Tiktok & Pinterest) that consistently delivers high engagement and fosters a community of loyal followers.
Your goal will be to create a reliable pipeline of engaging, potentially viral video content. You will schedule 15-20 batched pieces of short-form video every two weeks and post them 1 - 2 times per day, gradually increasing output.
This role involves creating a robust content calendar and scheduling system, working with videographers, developing ambassador and influencer relationships, coordinating high-quality content production with the videographer, and ensuring scheduling optimisation and the success of our social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy and Planning: Refine our content strategy for our ideal client profile and manage a content calendar based on documenting clients' journeys and testimonial stories, showcasing adjustments with storytelling, team and clinic atmosphere feeling, what we stand for (showcasing our values) and talking head videos on different topics, seasonal trends, campaigns, and current viral trends. Take inventory of existing content and identify needs for new content creation, including scheduling and working with a videographer to film and edit videos and sourcing new materials.
2. Content Production & Scheduling: Collaborate with the content team to source video content for social media involving models and videographers. Prepare detailed briefs with shot lists for specific shoots, ensuring high-quality output. Follow best scheduling practices such as headlines, hooks, copy, SEO off the screen for reels and videos, collaborators with different accounts, and posting on chosen channels.
3. Engagement, Analytics and Reporting: Develop effective audience engagement strategies to boost reach and influence. Regularly engage with comments, analyse social media performance and provide detailed reports.
4. Budget Management: Manage the social media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to hit our goals.
Desired Qualities:
* 2+ years of experience in social media for a service-based DTC brand, agency or your own account.
* Exceptional copywriting & storytelling skills—your content stops the scroll.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
* Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas and know how to document well.
* Experience working with influencers and managing content partnerships.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Maintain a high sense of urgency, entrepreneurial work ethic, and resourcefulness required to drive business outcomes.
* Coachable with the attitude for feedback required to learn with the ability to quickly, proficiently absorb, understand and act upon new information.
* Collaborative team player who takes full ownership of outcomes and gets things done.
* Strong knowledge of behavioural psychology, storytelling, copywriting, branding & positioning.
* Aesthetic sense, grammatically sharp, and skilled in crafting persuasive, witty copy across formats to drive engagement and conversions.
* Meticulous and data-driven, with strong analytical skills, numerical literacy, and experience tracking performance, analysing metrics, and ensuring ROI through continuous improvement.
* Bonus: Experience in healthcare, retail, or consumer goods is a plus.
Our budget is up to £650 per month for batch scheduling 15-20 short-form pieces of content every 2 weeks.
