Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Plan and deliver lessons that inspire creativity, practical skills, and a love for food.
* Promote the importance of healthy eating, nutrition, and sustainability.
* Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, ensuring students meet high standards in both practical and theoretical work.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified teacher with a degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge and passion for food technology and its role in education.
* Experience teaching food technology at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4).
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A strong understanding of the Catholic ethos and a commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
