Part Time - 16 hours per week minimum
The main aim for occupational health is to prevent, rather than cure, ill health from wherever it arises in the workplace.
1. Perform health assessments, fitness to work assessments and health surveillance.
2. Identify and report any deviations from normal standards to a Senior Occupational Health Adviser.
3. Organise and coordinate health surveillance appointments and database, liaising with relevant stakeholders on site.
4. Manage and organise personal workflow (time management) and work on own initiative to meet the OH service and business requirements.
5. Undertake regular reviews with the Senior OHA to ensure that quality assurance standards are met.
6. Ensure they remain vocationally up to date.
7. Provide accurate written, electronic and verbal reports while observing confidentiality.
8. Recognise the two-way partnership between work and health.
9. Carry out health assessments accurately and efficiently.
