The Role: As the Office Manager, you will be the backbone of the office, responsible for overseeing daily operations and creating a productive work environment. Your role will involve managing administrative tasks, supporting various departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing office operations, supplies, and facilities management to ensure a well-organised workspace. Coordinating meetings, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements for senior staff. Handling administrative tasks, including document control, correspondence, and record-keeping. Supporting HR with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with payroll and benefits administration. Working closely with the finance team to manage office budgets and expenses. Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies. Acting as the key point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance office efficiency. What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly organised and adaptable Office Manager with strong problem-solving skills. You should have: Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role within the construction sector Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). The ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
