We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Process Analyst to join our team and drive process improvements across Compass UK & Ireland. The Business Process Analyst will play a key role in identifying inefficiencies, streamlining operations, and optimising business processes to align with our strategic objectives. The role involves process mapping, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and implementing best practices to foster continuous improvement across the organisation.
As Business Process Analyst you will be responsible for:
1. Process Mapping & Documentation: Visualize and document workflows using BPMN 2.0 and other tools to identify improvement areas, while maintaining SOPs, change logs, and reports.
2. Data Analysis: Identify trends, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in processes, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and gather needs for improvement initiatives.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Engage with departments to gain support, understand challenges, and ensure smooth communication. Support change management by training users on new processes.
5. Improvement Recommendations: Suggest process improvements, including streamlining, addressing pain points, or introducing new technologies.
6. Testing & Validation: Ensure new processes meet goals and performance metrics through testing and validation.
7. Best Practice Integration: Incorporate industry best practices and benchmarks to enhance processes, looking beyond core competencies.
8. Performance & Monitoring: Set KPIs and track progress, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
9. Continuous Improvement: Adopt a proactive approach to drive ongoing process enhancements and foster a culture of improvement.
The successful Business Process Analyst will have:
1. Extensive experience in process improvement, business analysis, and transformation within large, multi-site organisations.
2. Proven track record of supporting and delivering large-scale transformation projects, including identifying bottlenecks, streamlining operations, and implementing new processes or technologies.
3. Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage projects within scope, time, and budget.
4. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and manage competing priorities.
5. Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to assess current processes, identify inefficiencies, and provide clear recommendations for improvement.
6. Proficiency in using data analysis to provide insights and make data-driven decisions.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships across various levels of the organisation.
8. Ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
9. Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and adapting strategies in response to new information or changing business needs.
10. Experience in driving change initiatives, including supporting the communication and training required to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
11. Qualifications in Six Sigma, Lean Management, or other recognised process improvement methodologies, project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and experience with ERP systems and process modelling tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms would be advantageous in addition to experience using process mining platforms to analyse workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
