The school are a special secondary school that looks after students with SEMH amongst other special needs (ASD, ADHD, Complex Needs). The school are incredibly proud of the challenging work they do at the school, having been well established in Swindon for a while now. The role The role of Maths Cover Supervisor is full-time and requires something who is confident in their Maths abilities Then main responsibilities of the role are to lead pre-planned lessons of Maths up to GCSE level. You will be ably supported by TA's in the department as well as support your department head. Due to the needs of the students it is essential you feel confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and have worked with SEMH/Special Needs before. The school are open to a wide range of applications, these could include Unqualified Teachers or experienced TA's looking for step up.
